Dear Families, I can’t believe this is my second last BLOG POST of the school year!! I have thoroughly enjoyed communicating our news and learning with you all (my students’ families). I thank you for being a regular follower and supporting your child’s learning (E.g., by asking them questions about their week) and reading my thoughts. It has been a true pleasure writing these posts each week as I get to reflect upon all the neat things we're doing as a class, this brings me immense joy too! Dear Families, Umm, how many teaching and learning days do we have left?! Wowie, time sure flew by!! I can still picture the first day of school seeing the keen and bright eyes of my students :) It's really been a fantastic experience because of my brilliant learners and their awesome parents supporting us throughout the school year!! Father's Day: Happy Father’s Day on Sunday to all the wonderful Dads out there! I hope you enjoy quality time together as a family. Your child is so excited to give Dad the personalized card and letter that they created. Each student worked so hard on this during the past week. Dear Families, What a beautiful end to our week! The sun was shining, the birds chirping, and the anticipation of summer bringing a smile to everyone’s faces. I hope you find wonderful ways to enjoy this weekend, boys and girls! Make time to be outside and bask in the amazing surroundings we have in our area. We are fortunate to live where we do! I’m very much looking forward to the weekend to be outside with my friends hiking, biking, and attending our Canadian women’s soccer team game in Hamilton – Canada vs. Germany. Go Canada Go!! Wye Marsh: We had an amazing field trip in Midland this week! The weather was fantastic and the program at Wye Marsh was outstanding. It was very meaningful for the students as they classified different species of bugs, had the opportunity to go dip netting, learning about animal adaptations and meeting a turkey vulture named Darwin and a snowy owl named Odin.
